Hermes Raspberry Pi
Privacy Policy
Effective October 5, 2026
Hermes Raspberry Pi is a personal assistant operated by Suresh Murali for his own Google account. It is not offered as a public service.
Google data accessed
With the account owner's consent, the assistant can read Gmail messages and metadata, organize messages and labels, send messages requested by the owner, and read, create, update, or delete Google Calendar events. The app requests Gmail read, send, and modify permissions plus Calendar management permission for those features.
How data is used
Google data is used to fulfill the owner's requests through the assistant. It is not sold or used for advertising. Depending on the owner's request and configuration, relevant content may be included in a Discord conversation or sent to the AI service configured for the assistant to prepare a response. These services process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
Storage and security
OAuth credentials are stored on the owner's Raspberry Pi. The assistant may retain conversation history and related results locally according to its configuration. Its dashboards are restricted to devices authorized on the owner's private Tailscale network; this public website does not host Google data or tokens.
Control and deletion
The owner can stop access by revoking the app in Google Account settings, then remove its local OAuth credentials and any retained assistant history. Google data also remains subject to the owner's controls in Gmail and Calendar.
